Executive Chef vacancy in Dubai UAE
Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced Executive Chef to join our team in Dubai. The ideal candidate should have excellent culinary skills, creative imagination, and a passion for cooking.
The Executive Chef will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the kitchen operations, including menu planning, food preparation, quality control and presentation. You will also be expected to develop and implement cost-saving measures in the kitchen. This is a full-time position with a salary of 1000 per month (we are ready to consider an immigrant).
Responsibilities:
• Develop menus that are creative and attractive
• Create daily specials based on seasonal ingredients
• Oversee the selection of ingredients from suppliers
• Supervise kitchen staff to ensure high standards of food safety and hygiene
• Maintain inventory of food items and other supplies
• Monitor portion size and wastage levels
• Ensure that all dishes served meet quality standards
• Train kitchen staff on proper cooking techniques and recipes
Requirements:
• A minimum of 5 years’ experience as an executive chef in a hotel or restaurant setting • A degree or certification from a culinary school/institution is preferred • Familiarity with HACCP principles and kitchen safety standards • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment • Strong leadership qualities • Fluency in English is essential
