Physician Assistant Job in Abu Dhabi

We are looking for a Physician Assistant to join our team in Abu Dhabi. The position is offered with a salary of 1400 and we are ready to consider an immigrant.

Requirements for the Candidate

The ideal candidate should possess at least two years of experience as a Physician Assistant and hold a valid license from the relevant licensing authority in Abu Dhabi or have the capacity to obtain it. They must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, be self-motivated, and be capable of working under pressure. Moreover, they must have a good understanding of medical protocols and procedures, as well as the ability to assess patient’s conditions accurately and provide appropriate treatments.

Additionally, the ideal candidate should be able to work collaboratively with other medical professionals and have excellent problem-solving skills. They must also demonstrate proficient computer skills and have excellent organizational capabilities. Furthermore, they must be able to handle confidential information discreetly and be able to use their own initiative when needed.

Finally, they should demonstrate strong ethical behavior in line with professional standards set by relevant governing bodies.

Responsibilities

The main responsibilities of this role include conducting comprehensive physical examinations, ordering diagnostic tests such as laboratory tests or imaging studies; interpreting results; discussing diagnosis with patients; providing patient education; prescribing medications; performing minor surgical procedures; providing referrals for specialty care when needed; filing insurance forms; documenting patient’s health histories and progress notes; consulting with physicians on management plans; conferring with nurses and other healthcare providers regarding patient care plans; scheduling follow-up visits with patients as needed; and participating in quality improvement activities when required.

Desired Skills & Qualifications

The desired qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree in an allied health profession such as Nursing or Medical Technology from an accredited college/university program or equivalent experience/training is preferred but not required along with certifications such as the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA). In addition, knowledge of medical terminology is essential while knowledge of Arabic is advantageous but not essential.
