Accountant job in Sharjah UAE


We are a small business in Sharjah looking for an Accountant to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for all aspects of accounting including bookkeeping, financial analysis, and preparation of financial reports.

The ideal candidate must have excellent organizational and problem-solving skills and be able to work independently with minimal supervision. The position offers a salary of AED 1300 per month and is open to immigrants. No prior experience is necessary, but a degree in accounting or finance is preferred.

The Accountant will be responsible for the following duties:
- Maintaining accurate records of all financial transactions
- Preparing reports on income, expenses, profit/loss statements, balance sheets, etc.
- Ensure that all taxes are paid accurately and on time
- Reconcile bank statements and investigate any discrepancies
- Identify areas of waste and recommend ways to reduce costs
- Assist with budget preparation and forecasting
- Evaluate internal processes and recommend improvements as needed
- Provide general administrative support when needed
- Adhere to all applicable regulations and laws set by the UAE government

The successful candidate must possess excellent communication skills in both English and Arabic (preferred). Experience with Quickbooks or other accounting software is also preferred. We look forward to hearing from you!
