Job Description:
We are looking for a qualified and experienced Librarian to join our team at Reef Al Fujairah City. The main responsibility of the successful candidate will be to manage and maintain the library resources, as well as provide assistance to library patrons. The successful candidate will also be expected to keep the shelves organized and stocked with new materials. Furthermore, they should possess strong communication skills and work collaboratively with other members of the team.
Requirements for Candidate:
• Bachelor’s degree in Library Science or related field.
• Advanced computer literacy in Microsoft Office Suite, Internet Research, and other library software programs.
• Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail. • Knowledge of cataloging systems and database maintenance is essential. • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. • Flexibility in working hours is essential. • Strong interpersonal skills with excellent customer service orientation is required for this role. • Ability to lift heavy objects when necessary. • Previous experience in a library or related field is preferred but not essential for this role.
