The primary role of the Cashier is to manage all transactions with customers accurately and efficiently. This includes accepting payments and issuing receipts as well as providing excellent customer service at all times. Other key responsibilities include: processing returns and exchanges, verifying customer information, keeping a clean working area, resolving customer complaints and ensuring that all safety regulations are followed at all times.
The successful applicant must have excellent communication skills as well as experience in handling cash transactions, preferably in a retail environment. A basic understanding of accounting processes is also required for this role. Additionally, we expect applicants to be highly organized with strong problem solving abilities and attention to detail.
