We are looking for an experienced Housekeeping Manager to join our team in Abu Dhabi. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the housekeeping department, ensuring all rooms and facilities are kept clean, safe and secure. The ideal candidate should possess excellent organizational, communication and problem-solving skills in addition to a positive attitude and the ability to work well with others. A commitment to providing excellent customer service is essential.
The Housekeeping Manager’s duties include but are not limited to: overseeing the daily operations of the housekeeping staff; ensuring that all areas of the property are properly maintained; maintaining accurate records of staff hours, supplies used, guest service complaints; conducting regular inspections of all common areas; making sure that all safety procedures are followed; developing schedules for housekeeping staff; training new personnel as needed; and creating a pleasant atmosphere for guests.
The successful candidate should have at least one year of experience working in a similar position, preferably in Abu Dhabi. He/she should also have strong leadership qualities, excellent interpersonal skills and be able to multi-task efficiently. Proficient computer skills as well as knowledge of relevant software programs such as Microsoft Office Suite is also required. Knowledge of English language is essential.
We offer an attractive salary package of 1100 USD/month with potential bonuses based on performance. We are ready to consider an immigrant for this position.
