Merchandiser job vacancy in Doha Qatar for foreigners
We are looking for an experienced Merchandiser to join our team in Doha. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and overseeing the entire merchandising process, from buying materials and managing stock to handling customer inquiries and ensuring product availability.
The ideal candidate should have a strong eye for detail as well as excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills. You should also have the ability to work independently with minimal supervision and collaborate with other departments on a regular basis. A fundamental understanding of the retail industry is preferred, though we are willing to consider an immigrant who has no prior experience in merchandising.
Your primary duty would be to ensure that all products are adequately displayed and available in store at all times. You will be required to conduct market research, analyze trends, order items from suppliers, manage stock levels, negotiate prices with vendors, keep accurate records of inventory, respond to customer inquiries promptly, and ensure that store shelves are restocked on time. Additionally, you will need to provide feedback on overall performance and recommend any improvements that can be made to enhance sales performance.
