We are looking for a Librarian to join our team in Dubai. The successful candidate will have 2 years of experience, and ideally will be an immigrant.

Job Description:
The Librarian is responsible for organizing and managing the library's collections of books, periodicals, documents, audiovisual materials and other resources. They must also provide assistance to library users in finding the materials they are looking for. This will involve cataloguing books, magazines, newspapers, audio-visual materials and other resources; conducting research; maintaining library equipment; answering questions from library patrons; and providing reference services.

Needs for the Candidate:
• Bachelor’s degree in Library Science or related field
• Two years of experience as a librarian
• Knowledge of library standards and procedures
• Excellent customer service skills
• Ability to prioritize tasks effectively and work well under pressure
• Good communication skills both verbal and written
• Proficiency in computer applications related to library use (e.g., Microsoft Office)
