Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Merchandiser to join our team in Musaffah. The successful applicant will be responsible for overseeing the inventory of product within our store, reporting stock levels and working with suppliers to ensure that our shelves are stocked with the right merchandise. The ideal candidate should have at least 3 years of experience in a similar role. This position offers a salary of AED 1700 and we are open to considering foreign nationals.
Responsibilities
The primary responsibility of this role is to ensure that merchandise is ordered in a timely manner, managed properly and delivered efficiently. This includes overseeing the inventory process, tracking stock levels, coordinating with suppliers, negotiating prices and ordering items as needed. The Merchandiser will also be responsible for monitoring customer feedback and ensuring that products meet quality standards. Additionally, they will support store personnel by providing advice on product availability and coordinate delivery schedules with suppliers.
Qualifications
Applicants must have at least 3 years of experience in a similar role such as Purchasing Manager or Inventory Manager. Candidates should possess strong analytical skills as well as excellent communication skills in order to effectively liaise with suppliers and other stakeholders. Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications is also necessary for this role.
