Merchandiser vacancy in Abu-Dhabi UAE for unskilled workers
We are looking for an experienced Merchandiser to join our team in Abu Dhabi.
The ideal candidate should have a good eye for detail, excellent organizational skills and the ability to work independently as well as within a team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and coordinating our merchandise stock, ensuring the store’s aesthetic stays up-to-date, and providing excellent customer service.
Responsibilities:
• Maintain accurate inventory controls and complete necessary paperwork in a timely manner
• Assist customers with product selection and purchase
• Ensure merchandise is accurately priced and displayed in accordance with company standards
• Develop visual displays that increase sales and attract customers
• Monitor sales performance of merchandise categories to identify slow moving items or products in need of restocking
• Communicate with suppliers to ensure timely product availability
• Follow all safety guidelines while handling products or operating machinery
• Adhere to company policies regarding customer service, loss prevention, safety procedures and cash handling practices
Requirements:
• Proven experience as a merchandiser or similar role within a retail environment
• Knowledge of retail merchandising methods, techniques, principles, and best practices
• Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. safely with assistance from other team members if needed
