We are looking for an experienced Librarian to join our team in Dubai. The successful candidate must have excellent organisational and communication skills, as well as the ability to work independently. A broad knowledge of library systems, cataloguing and resource management is essential.

The primary responsibilities of the Librarian include managing library resources, organising materials, and providing information services to patrons. The Librarian is also expected to provide training and guidance to library users on how to best use the library services. Additionally, they are expected to maintain accurate records of inventory, cataloguing activities, circulation statistics and program/workshop attendance. As part of the job requirements, the Librarian should be able to conduct research on requested topics in order to provide patrons with accurate information about available resources.

The ideal candidate should possess a Bachelor's degree in Library Science or a related field with at least 3 years' experience working in a library setting. They must have strong knowledge of current technologies used in libraries and have excellent writing and interpersonal skills. In addition, they should be capable of working with diverse groups of people from all backgrounds and cultures while providing polite customer service with a positive attitude. Fluency in English is required for this position; knowledge of other languages is an added advantage.
