Job Description:
We are seeking a motivated and talented Merchandiser to join our team here in Sharjah. The ideal candidate will be the key link between the company and its customers, working closely with marketing, sales, operations and customer service teams to ensure product availability. You will be responsible for managing the entire product lifecycle from sourcing new products to stocking shelves with existing items. You should have a passion for understanding customer needs and providing excellent customer service.
Duties & Responsibilities:
• Developing product strategies that increase sales and improve customer experience
• Analyzing market trends, consumer preferences, competitor activity, and supply/demand conditions to adjust product availability
• Creating promotional plans that increase product visibility
• Maintaining relationships with vendors to ensure timely delivery of products
• Monitoring inventory levels to ensure adequate stock availability
• Ensuring products meet quality standards and are properly displayed in store
• Assisting in creating merchandise displays that attract customers
• Identifying potential problems with product quality or delivery schedules
Qualifications & Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in business or related field
• Experience working as a Merchandiser or similar role preferred but not required
• Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
• Knowledge of retail industry trends, markets, vendors, competitors, etc.
• Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail
