Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Optometrist to join our team in Ras-al-Khaimah. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive eye care services including vision exams, contact lens fittings, and optical services. They will also be responsible for identifying and diagnosing vision problems and prescribing corrective lenses or treatments as needed. The salary offered for this position is 1300 AED per month. We are also willing to consider immigrants in this role.

Job Responsibilities

• Performing comprehensive eye exams on patients including measurement of visual acuity, detection of refractive errors, evaluation of ocular health using diagnostic equipment such as retinoscopes, slit lamps etc.
• Prescribing corrective lenses or treatments as needed.
• Educating patients on eye health and safety issues such as proper eyeglass or contact lens use.
• Maintaining records of patient exams, test results, diagnoses and treatments.
• Fitting contact lenses according to patient needs and preferences.

Required Qualifications & Experience
• Bachelor's degree in optometry or related field from an accredited institution.
• At least 5 years of experience working as an Optometrist in a clinical setting .
• Knowledgeable about current industry standards and practices related to optometric care .
• Excellent communication skills both verbal and written .
