Librarian – Abu Dhabi
We are looking for an experienced and motivated Librarian to join our team in Abu Dhabi. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, while helping us provide the highest level of service to our customers.
Job Description:
As a Librarian, you will be responsible for the organization, maintenance, and efficient delivery of library resources. You will be responsible for managing library operations, cataloging books and other materials, providing reference services to patrons, and training staff on library procedures. You will also be expected to promote library events, programs, activities, and services.
Requirements for the Candidate:
• Bachelor’s degree in Library Science or related field
• At least two years of experience working in a library setting
• Excellent organizational skills
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
• Outstanding customer service skills
• Proficiency with computer systems and software applications such as Microsoft Office Suite
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English (Arabic proficiency preferred)
