We are looking for an experienced Executive Chef to join our team in Haur-Fakkan, with a salary of 1500 AED. The ideal candidate should have at least 1 year of experience in a similar position.
The Executive Chef is responsible for managing the daily operations of the kitchen, including menu development, food preparation, staff management, budgeting and cost control. The successful candidate will be passionate about creating innovative and delicious dishes while overseeing the kitchen staff.
The ideal candidate should have excellent leadership skills to motivate and develop their team; they should also have great attention to detail and excellent hygiene practices. Additionally, they should be able to work well under pressure and adhere to health and safety regulations.
Responsibilities:
- Developing menus that meet customer needs
- Overseeing food preparation to ensure quality standards are met
- Monitoring stock levels and ordering supplies when necessary
- Managing kitchen staff including training, scheduling shifts, supervising performance
- Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations
- Keeping accurate records of food costs and waste
- Liaising with front of house staff on order taking/delivery processes
Qualifications:
- At least 1 year experience as an Executive Chef or similar role in the hospitality industry
- Excellent knowledge of cooking techniques and food presentation standards
- Ability to manage multiple tasks under pressure
- Good organizational skills
- Culinary arts degree or equivalent qualification is preferred
