Merchandiser vacancy in Sharjah UAE for foreigners
Position Summary
The Merchandiser role at our Sharjah-based company is a full-time position that offers an attractive salary of 1200. We are looking for someone with minimum work experience to join our team and help us in the merchandising activities.
Job Responsibilities
• Develop and execute merchandising plans in order to maximize sales and profit.
• Monitor product availability, pricing, display, and other visual elements to ensure merchandise is properly displayed.
• Analyze sales reports to identify potential areas for improvement in product displays.
• Maintain relationships with key vendors to ensure product availability and quality standards are met.
• Manage inventory levels by ordering products from vendors as needed.
• Collaborate with marketing department on promotional activities to increase sales.
• Participate in trade shows and other industry events to stay up-to-date on trends and new products.
• Provide feedback on customer preferences, market conditions, competitive activities, etc., in an effort to improve sales strategies.
Qualifications & Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in marketing, business administration or related field preferred.
• Proven experience as a merchandiser or similar role for at least one year preferred.
• Knowledge of retail analytics software (e.g., Retail Pro) preferred but not mandatory.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail required.
• Excellent communication skills required for working with vendors and customers alike.
• Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously required
