We are looking for a highly motivated Librarian to join our team in Dubai. The successful candidate will be responsible for organizing and managing the library of our organization. This position requires a strong attention to detail, exceptional organizational skills, and an ability to work independently.

The successful candidate must have at least one year of experience in a library environment. Knowledge of cataloguing systems, circulation procedures, and library policies is essential to this role. The Librarian should be comfortable interacting with patrons and staff members on a regular basis and possess excellent customer service skills. It is also desirable for the successful applicant to have an understanding of computer technology and the ability to use various software programs related to library operations.

The Librarian will be expected to maintain the collection of books, materials, periodicals, videos, DVDs, etc., in the library as well as ensure their security through appropriate procedures. They will also be responsible for helping patrons locate information, answer questions about library services, assist with recommending materials or resources for research purposes, and provide technical support if needed. Furthermore, they will also need to research new materials that may be added to the collection as well as categorize them according to established procedures.
