Accountant – Sharjah

We are looking for an experienced Accountant to join our team in Sharjah. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing financial statements, managing budgets and analyzing financial data.

Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
• Proven experience as an accountant or similar role
• Excellent understanding of accounting regulations and procedures
• In-depth knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP)
• Advanced MS Excel skills (creating spreadsheets and using financial functions)
• Ability to create financial reports and statements
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Willingness to work with foreign clients (if applicable)

Job Responsibilities:
• Prepare, examine, and analyze accounting records, financial statements, and other financial reports to assess accuracy, completeness, and conformance to reporting standards.
• Develop, maintain, and analyze budgets.
• Compute taxes owed and prepare tax returns.
• Develop, implement and ensure compliance with internal control procedures.

• Establish tables of accounts, assign entries to proper accounts.

• Analyze business operations including revenues, expenditures, financial commitments made by the company.

• Audit cash accounts on a regular basis.

• Create periodic reports for management regarding revenues/expenditures/budget comparisons.
