Librarian job in Abu-Dhabi UAE for foreigners


We are looking for a qualified Librarian to join our team in Abu-Dhabi and help us maintain our library system. The successful candidate will be offered a salary of 1300 AED. We are willing to accept applications from foreign candidates who have at least two years of experience in a similar role.

The Librarian will be responsible for organizing and maintaining the library's collections, as well as providing knowledgeable assistance to staff and patrons. This includes cataloging, managing the circulation system, maintaining knowledge about new publications, and ensuring all library material is up-to-date and properly stored. The Librarian will also provide resources to patrons in person or via email, assist with special projects related to library operations, and keep track of the library budget.

The ideal candidate should possess a Bachelor's degree in Library Science or a similar field. They should also have at least two years of experience in an academic or public library setting. The successful candidate must have excellent organizational skills, excellent communication skills both verbal and written, and be comfortable using computers and library software programs. Attention to detail is essential for this role, as it requires accuracy when cataloging and managing materials within the library system.
