Office assistant vacancy in Zayed City UAE for unskilled worker
We are looking for an experienced Office Assistant to join our team in Zayed City. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing administrative and clerical support to our office staff.
The ideal candidate must have knowledge of office management systems and procedures, be highly organized and reliable, and have strong interpersonal skills. This is a full-time position with a salary of 1300. We would prefer a foreigner to apply but all applications are welcome.
Duties & Responsibilities:
• Answer telephone calls; take messages or forward calls as appropriate
• Respond promptly to customer inquiries
• Coordinate office activities such as filing, archiving, inventory control and document management
• Greet visitors and direct them to the appropriate person
• Maintain office supplies by checking inventory, ordering items and verifying receipt
• Prepare correspondence, reports and other documents as needed
• Assist with various administrative tasks such as data entry, scheduling appointments, organizing meetings etc.
• Compile financial information for analysis by the accountant or other staff member
• Monitor incoming emails and respond accordingly
Qualifications & Skills:
• Minimum high school diploma; some post-secondary education preferred
• At least one year of experience in an administrative role preferred but not required
• Knowledge of basic office equipment including computers (MS Office) is essential • Must be detail oriented with excellent organizational skills • Ability to effectively work both independently and as part of a team • Strong communication skills both verbally and written • Ability to juggle multiple tasks efficiently • Ability to handle confidential information in a professional manner
