Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced and reliable Office Assistant to join our team in Sharjah. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing administrative support to the office and will contribute to the smooth running of day-to-day operations. This is a full-time position with an immediate start and a salary of AED 1300 per month. We are open to considering an immigrant for this role.
The successful candidate will be expected to perform the following duties and responsibilities:
• Answer all incoming calls, take messages, and transfer calls as needed;
• Greet clients and visitors warmly;
• Manage daily office operations such as filing, photocopying, scanning, etc.;
• Prepare documents, reports, presentations, spreadsheets and other materials;
• Schedule meetings and appointments;
• Maintain the office calendar;
• Coordinate travel arrangements for staff members;
• Assist in the preparation of events;
• Monitor office supplies levels and order new supplies when needed;
• Perform other duties as assigned.
The ideal candidate must have the following qualifications & skills:
• At least 2 years of experience working in an administrative role; • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail; • Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written); • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel & PowerPoint); • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision; • Ability to multi-task with strong problem-solving skills.
