Librarian job vacancy in Abu-Dhabi UAE for unskilled workers


We are looking for a qualified and experienced Librarian to join our team in Abu Dhabi. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the library’s resources, collections and services.

The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor’s degree in Library Science or related field and at least 5 years of experience in the field. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential. Knowledge of library catalogs, databases, and other computer systems is also required.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
-Maintaining library collections by selecting resources, shelving materials, repairing damaged materials, cataloging materials, etc.
-Organizing book sales and other library events
-Developing library policies and procedures
-Providing reference services to patrons
-Maintaining readers’ advisory services
-Assisting patrons with computer use
-Implementing library programs for children, adults, and seniors
-Supervising part-time staff members
