We are looking for a Project Manager to join our team in Doha, Qatar. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on exciting projects while managing all aspects of the development cycle. The salary for this position is 1800QAR. We are open to considering immigrants for this role.
The Project Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing projects from inception to completion, and ensuring that they are completed on-time and within budget. This includes defining project objectives, developing project plans, scheduling tasks, assigning roles and responsibilities, monitoring progress and performance against milestones, coordinating resources across multiple teams in a dynamic environment, ensuring project quality standards are met with all deliverables, and providing regular updates to stakeholders on the progress of the project.
To be successful in this role you must have a strong understanding of project management principles as well as experience leading cross-functional teams in complex projects. You must be highly organized with an eye for detail and have excellent communication skills. You must also be able to handle shifting priorities with ease and remain flexible under pressure.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field
• 5+ years of experience managing complex software development projects
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proven ability to work independently as well as within cross-functional teams
• Proficiency with project management tools such as Jira or Microsoft Project
• Strong problem solving abilities and critical thinking skills
Responsibilities:
• Develop detailed project plans outlining tasks, milestones and deliverables
• Monitor progress against milestones within established timelines while remaining flexible when needed
• Coordinate resources across departments including technical support staff, marketing staff etc.
• Ensure all tasks are completed according to established quality standards
• Establish clear lines of communication amongst stakeholders including clients/customers
• Track risks associated with each project and develop mitigation strategies when needed
Duties: • Lead daily standup meetings with cross-functional teams • Track changes throughout the development cycle using version control tools such as Gitlab or Subversion • Communicate regularly with stakeholders to update them on the status of their projects • Provide regular reports outlining progress against milestones • Ensure that projects remain within scope by monitoring costs closely • Manage external vendors when necessary
