We are looking for an experienced Librarian to join our team of professionals in Abu-Dhabi. We are offering a competitive salary of 1100 as well as the possibility of sponsoring an immigration.

The successful candidate will be expected to provide a range of services related to the library, including assisting patrons, organizing the library collection and cataloging materials, maintaining library records, and other tasks as assigned. The ideal candidate should possess strong research skills and have some expertise in using software such as Microsoft Office and/or Adobe products. Additionally, they need to have excellent organizational skills and be able to work independently on tasks with limited supervision. Being able to communicate effectively with patrons is a must.

The successful candidate should also have knowledge of cataloguing principles, library science standards, and experience working with electronic databases and other online resources. They should also possess good computer skills and be familiar with various computer systems used in libraries such as online catalogue systems and circulation software.

We are looking for someone who is able to work well within a team environment but also has the capability to work autonomously when required. A commitment to working with diverse populations is essential for this role.
