The successful Office assistant will have excellent organizational and communication skills as well as experience in administrative tasks. They should be proficient computer users with strong typing skills, able to work independently as well as in a team environment. Fluency in English is another must-have requirement for this position, while knowledge of Arabic would be beneficial but not essential.
The main responsibilities of this role include answering phone calls, managing emails, filing documents, scheduling appointments, handling payments and providing general office support. The Office Assistant will also be expected to perform basic bookkeeping duties such as data entry into our financial systems. Additionally, they should be comfortable using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) as well as other software that may be used within the office environment.
