This is an exciting opportunity for an immigrant to join our team and take on the responsibility of overseeing the day-to-day operations of our housekeeping department. The Housekeeping Manager is responsible for ensuring that all areas of the hotel are kept clean to the highest standards, as well as recruiting, training, and managing staff members. Other duties include scheduling shifts, carrying out inspections, creating plans for preventive maintenance, and ordering supplies when necessary.
The successful candidate will possess excellent communication skills as well as a keen eye for detail and a strong work ethic. They should also have meaningful prior experience in a similar role, ensuring they can hit the ground running from day one. Additionally, the successful candidate must be organized, able to multi-task effectively, and have experience working with budgets. Familiarity with health and safety regulations is also essential.
