Job Description:
We are searching for an experienced and detail-oriented Accountant to join our team in Sharjah. The Accountant will be responsible for preparing, analyzing, and verifying financial records and statements. This position requires excellent problem-solving and organizational skills as well as a high level of accuracy.

Responsibilities:
-Prepare financial reports based on data collected from bank statements, general ledgers, and other accounting documents.
-Maintain accurate accounts receivable/payable ledgers.
-Verify accuracy of financial transactions by reviewing documents such as invoices, purchase orders, journal entries and bank statements.
-Analyze budgets and generate reports for management review.
-Provide assistance with auditing processes including assessing internal controls.
-Develop procedures to improve the efficiency of the accounting department.
-Ensure compliance with relevant local laws and regulations regarding taxation and other financial matters.

Skills & Qualifications:
-Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required.
-Minimum of five years' experience in accounting/bookkeeping required.
-Strong knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
-Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel) required; experience with Quickbooks a plus.
-Excellent problem solving, attention to detail, analytical thinking & communication skills required.

Salary & Benefits:
The salary for this position is 1800 AED per month along with benefits including annual leave days, health insurance coverage, housing allowance where applicable, etc.. We are also ready to consider an immigrant for this position if they have the desired qualifications stated above.
