Office assistant job in Sharjah UAE for Indian
We are looking for an experienced Office Assistant to join our team in Sharjah.
The ideal candidate will have excellent organizational and communication skills, be detail oriented and be able to work independently. We are looking for someone who is confident and committed to providing excellent customer service.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Answer incoming calls, respond to inquiries, and transfer calls accordingly
• Greet visitors and direct them to the appropriate areas
• Manage office supplies inventories and purchase orders
• Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, photocopying, scanning documents, etc.
• Assist with scheduling meetings and preparing conference rooms
• Maintain office records and filing systems
• Monitor office expenses and costs
• Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
• High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor’s degree preferred • Minimum 1-2 years of experience in an office setting or relevant field • Excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to interact effectively with customers • Proven problem-solving skills • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision • Fluent English speaker preferred; Arabic proficiency desirable • Ability to work flexible hours when needed
