Demands for the Candidate:
• Bachelor’s degree in relevant field preferred but not necessary
• Previous experience in a similar role or in customer service
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Attention to detail with a high level of accuracy
• Ability to work well under pressure and handle difficult customers
• Computer proficiency in MS Office applications and other relevant software programs.

Responsibilities:
• Greet customers upon entry into the store and collect payments for products purchased.
• Issue receipts, refunds, change or tickets to customers accurately.
• Count money in cash drawers at the beginning of shifts to ensure that amounts are correct and there is adequate change.
• Maintain cleanliness of checkout areas.
• Balance cash drawers at the end of shifts.
• Handle all customer transactions in a courteous and professional manner.
• Answer customers' questions, and provide information on procedures or policies.

Expected Qualifications:
• Proven experience as a cashier or in customer service
• Knowledge of basic math and computer literacy • Solid understanding of customer service principles • Good organizational and multitasking abilities • Strong communication skills with an ability to work well with people from diverse backgrounds • Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings, weekends, holidays etc.
