Librarian job vacancy in Abu-Dhabi UAE for unskilled worker


We are currently looking to hire a highly qualified and experienced Librarian for our Abu-Dhabi office. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and maintaining our library, ensuring that it is up to date with the latest publications, resources and materials.

The ideal candidate should be able to work independently as well as part of a team, have excellent organizational skills and a passion for knowledge. They should also have a strong understanding of library science principles, methods, standards and techniques. They should be knowledgeable in researching, cataloguing and organizing library materials.

The successful applicant must also possess excellent customer service skills as they will often be interacting with patrons in person or by phone. It is important that they have strong communication skills both written and verbal, enabling them to effectively explain how to use the library resources and services available.

As part of their duties, they will need to keep accurate records of all library materials as well as prepare reports when required. They will also need to assist in creating promotions which encourage people to visit the library and use its services.

We are offering an attractive salary package of 1500 AED for this position along with other benefits such as medical insurance, paid vacation days and other incentives as applicable. We are also open to considering candidates from abroad who meet the requirements for this role.
