Qualifications and Skills:
To be considered for this role you must have excellent problem solving skills as well as strong communication skills in order to collaborate effectively with other teams in the company. A Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field is required. Previous experience as a Construction Manager in Abu-Dhabi is preferred but not essential. You should also have thorough knowledge of local construction codes and safety regulations as well as strong organizational skills in order to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Responsibilities:
The primary responsibility of the Construction Manager will be to oversee all phases of construction projects from start to finish while ensuring they are completed on time and within budget. This role will involve monitoring progress reports on each project, coordinating with contractors, architects, engineers, inspectors and other personnel involved in construction work, scheduling subcontractor activities/deliverables, inspecting materials used during the process for quality assurance purposes as well as maintaining accurate records of expenses incurred during the project’s lifetime. Additionally, the Construction Manager will be responsible for enforcing safety regulations at all times during the course of construction activities.
