We are looking for an experienced Merchandiser to join our team in Sharjah. The ideal candidate will be organized and detail-oriented with excellent communication skills. The Merchandiser will be responsible for managing a portfolio of products in line with market trends. The candidate should have a minimum of 1 year’s experience in merchandising.
The primary role of the Merchandiser is to manage the product portfolio, which includes product selection, pricing, promotion and display. They will be expected to track sales trends and adjust the product mix accordingly. They will also need to negotiate contracts with suppliers to ensure the best possible deals for the company. Additionally, they will need to develop strategies for promotions, display placement and other aspects of marketing in order to increase sales and brand awareness.
The successful candidate must possess strong organizational skills as well as excellent communication skills. They must also have knowledge of market trends and be able to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment. A degree in Business or Marketing is preferred but not required. Additionally, knowledge of computers is essential as this role requires daily use of spreadsheets, databases and other software applications related to merchandising activities.
We offer competitive salary package with 1700 AED (plus benefits) per month for this position and we are willing to consider immigrants for this role.
