Responsibilities:
The successful applicant will be responsible for ensuring the accurate dispensing of medication orders while maintaining patient confidentiality. This includes verifying prescription information, stocking shelves with medications, operating cash registers, maintaining proper documentation records, counselling customers on their medication usage and side effects, and providing assistance to other pharmacy staff members when needed.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate should possess a Pharmacy degree or related certification from an accredited institution or program; knowledge of standard pharmacy practice is also beneficial but not essential. You should have excellent customer service skills as well as strong communication abilities in order to effectively counsel customers on their medications. Furthermore, computer literacy is required in order to use pharmacy databases effectively and accurately enter patient information into our systems.
