Job Summary:
The position of Executive Chef will be based in Doha, with a salary of 900. We are ready to consider a foreigner for this role. The Executive Chef will be responsible for managing the daily operations of the kitchen, ensuring the quality of food produced meets high standards as set out by the restaurant. They will lead their team to deliver an exceptional dining experience to customers and oversee all aspects of food production and presentation.
Duties and Responsibilities:
The Executive Chef will use their knowledge and experience to oversee all areas of food production including menu planning, quality assurance, recipe development, staff training, budgeting and cost control. They will ensure that all health & safety regulations are adhered to in line with local legislation. The Executive Chef will also be responsible for controlling stock levels whilst maintaining high levels of hygiene throughout the kitchen. In addition, they must liaise with suppliers to ensure that orders are received on time and that produce is fresh and meets quality standards.
Qualifications and Requirements:
The ideal candidate must possess excellent culinary skills along with strong leadership qualities; they must also demonstrate excellent organisational skills in order to effectively manage kitchen operations. A minimum of 5 years' experience working as a chef within a professional catering environment is essential for this role; previous experience in a supervisory capacity would be advantageous but not essential. Furthermore, candidates should have a good knowledge of health & safety regulations along with an understanding of current food trends. The successful candidate must also have a valid work permit if applying from outside Qatar.
