We are seeking an experienced Executive Chef to join our team in Doha, Qatar. Job Description:
The Executive Chef will lead all aspects of the kitchen operations, including developing menus, ordering supplies, supervising staff and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction. The Executive Chef will be expected to provide creative direction to menu development while adhering to budgetary guidelines. The successful applicant must be able to create a professional kitchen atmosphere conducive to collaboration and team spirit. Other responsibilities include:
• Monitoring kitchen operations to ensure safe working conditions, food safety regulations, cleanliness and hygiene standards are met;
• Ensuring that orders are fulfilled on time and at the highest quality level;
• Identifying areas for improvement in processes or procedures;
• Developing innovative dishes that maximize customer satisfaction;
• Coordinating with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of ingredients;
• Collaborating with front-of-house staff on menu development & training;
• Maintaining accurate records related to food cost & inventory control systems.

Qualifications: The ideal candidate must have a degree in Culinary Arts/Management or equivalent experience as an Executive Chef or Sous Chef in a medium-to-large scale restaurant setting. Additionally they must possess excellent leadership qualities and have strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task under pressure. The successful applicant should also possess excellent communication skills both written & verbal and have an appreciation for different cultures & cuisines from around the world. Fluency in English is essential as well as any additional language skills such Arabic being advantageous but not essential.
