Job Description:

We are looking for a Cashier to join our team in Doha. As part of the front-end retail team, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service and handling all financial transactions with accuracy and efficiency. The successful candidate will need to have strong numerical skills, be able to handle customer complaints and inquiries with a professional demeanor, and stay focused on the task at hand during times of high customer traffic.

Responsibilities:

• Process all payments accurately and efficiently in accordance with established procedures
• Balance cash drawers at the beginning of each shift
• Maintain accurate records of financial transactions
• Greet customers entering the store
• Answer customers’ questions about store services, products, prices, etc.
• Resolve customer complaints or concerns courteously and professionally
• Assist other staff members in restocking shelves, setting up displays, etc.
• Monitor security cameras as needed to detect shoplifting or other suspicious activity
Qualifications & Skills:

• High School Diploma or equivalent is preferred but not required
• Ability to operate POS systems accurately and efficiently
• Basic math skills to handle financial transactions accurately
• Excellent customer service skills and ability to remain professional when handling customer complaints or inquiries
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision
• Previous experience working as a cashier is preferred but not required
