Accountant - Sharjah

We are looking for an experienced and highly motivated Accountant to join our team in Sharjah. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the financial records of our organization and providing financial reports to management.

The primary duties and responsibilities of the Accountant include:
• Preparing financial statements, such as balance sheets, income statements, and profit & loss statements.
• Monitoring accounts receivable and accounts payable.
• Reconciling monthly bank statements.
• Maintaining detailed records of cash flow.
• Developing budgets and performing budget analysis.
• Processing payroll and attending to general accounting tasks.
• Analyzing financial information and providing recommendations for improvement or change in processes or systems.
• Assisting with external audit preparation and year-end close process.
• Providing advice on cost-saving measures for the business operations.
• Ensuring compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies.
• Liaising with internal auditors to ensure adherence to accounting standards & procedures.

The ideal candidate should possess a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance from a reputable institution with a minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience in a similar role/position, preferably within the UAE or GCC market . They should have strong knowledge of accounting principles, excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, problem solving skills as well as excellent communication skills in order to build relationships with internal/external stakeholders in order to achieve desired objectives/results. We are also willing to consider foreign candidates who possess similar qualifications & experience for this role . The salary offered is AED 1800 per month .
