We are seeking an experienced Merchandiser to join our team in Sharjah. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing merchandising support to our stores in the region. This is a great opportunity for someone who is looking for a challenging role with excellent career prospects.
Job Description:
The Merchandiser will be responsible for maintaining the company's merchandising standards in stores across the UAE. This includes selecting stock, ensuring product displays are up-to-date and aesthetically pleasing, as well as providing customer service support. The Merchandiser will also work closely with store managers to ensure that product selections are appropriate for each store's customer base.
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Plan and implement store displays according to the company's guidelines
• Train staff on merchandising techniques
• Monitor inventory levels and order new stock when needed
• Communicate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of goods
• Provide customer service support in store
• Ensure that all products are priced correctly at all times
• Monitor competitor activities in order to keep up-to-date with trends and best practices
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in Retail Merchandising/Marketing/Business Administration or related field
• Previous experience as a Merchandiser or similar role is preferred
• Knowledge of retail trends and best practices
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
Salary: 1700 AED per month
