Librarian job in Abu-Dhabi UAE for foreigners


The Department of Education in Abu-Dhabi is seeking a qualified and experienced Librarian to join our team.

As an Librarian, you will be responsible for managing the library's resources, activities, and services. You will work closely with library staff to provide a high level of customer service, ensure collections are up-to-date, and promote the library's resources. You will be responsible for the selection of materials for the library collection, cataloging materials, circulating materials to patrons, and helping patrons locate materials or information. Additionally, you will assist in preparing reports and statistics related to library use as well as help maintain library equipment and carry out administrative duties.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Library Science or related field
• Familiarity with current library technologies
• Excellent organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and with a team
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks

Salary: 1300 AED/monthly. We are ready to consider an immigrant.
