Khalifah A City is looking for an experienced Cashier to assist customers with their purchases and ensure that all financial transactions are completed accurately and efficiently. The ideal candidate should be organized, punctual, and possess excellent customer service skills.
The successful Cashier will have the responsibility of processing all cash and credit card payments from customers. This includes scanning items, entering prices into the register, handling returns and refunds, counting money in the drawer at the beginning and end of the shift, providing change, processing coupons or vouchers, and ensuring all transactions are processed correctly. In addition to this, the Cashier will also be responsible for answering customer questions, recommending additional products or services where appropriate, and providing a friendly face for our customers.
The successful candidate should have prior experience as a cashier in a retail environment as well as strong math skills. We expect them to be able to handle a high-pressure environment while maintaining their focus on customer service. The successful candidate should also demonstrate excellent communication skills both verbally and written as well as proficiency with computers. A background check may be required prior to employment being offered.
