Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced Merchandiser to join our team in Doha, Qatar. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the product selection, pricing, and display of merchandise in our store. The ideal candidate should have at least three years of prior merchandising experience and be ready to work in a fast-paced environment. We are open to considering immigrants for this position.
Duties & Responsibilities:
• Develop and manage merchandising plans that align with store goals
• Analyze sales data to identify trends and adjust product selection accordingly
• Source new vendors and manage relationships with existing vendors
• Manage product selection, pricing, display, advertising, promotions, inventory control, and other merchandising strategies
• Monitor store performance including sales/profitability of merchandise categories
• Execute marketing initiatives that promote product lines in accordance with company standards
• Maintain accurate records of all merchandise transactions
Qualifications & Skills:
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field preferred
• Minimum 3 years’ merchandising experience in a retail environment
• Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
• Able to multitask and work under pressure while meeting deadlines set by management
• Previous experience with retail POS systems preferred
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data into effective strategies
