Accountant – Abu-Dhabi

We are an expanding business based in Abu-Dhabi and are looking for an experienced and motivated Accountant to join our team. This is a great opportunity to develop your skills and help our business to grow. The successful candidate will be offered a salary of 1700 per month. We are also open to considering applicants who are immigrating to the UAE.

Job Description
The Accountant will be responsible for providing accurate financial records, managing the company’s financial systems, preparing financial reports, analyzing financial data, monitoring cash flow and providing advice on budgeting. They will also ensure all accounting processes are compliant with relevant laws and regulations.

Responsibilities
The Accountant will carry out a range of tasks including:
• Preparing and maintaining accurate financial records
• Managing banking activities such as payments, transfers and deposits
• Analyzing financial data to identify trends or potential risks
• Monitoring cash flow, ensuring sufficient funds are available when required
• Preparing monthly/quarterly/annual financial statements
• Liaising with external auditors for annual audits
• Developing budgets and forecasts for the next year’s performance
• Providing advice on cost reduction strategies.

Qualifications & Skills

To be successful in this role you should have a minimum of two years’ experience working as an accountant in a similar setting with strong knowledge of accounting principles and processes. You must have excellent numerical skills as well as strong communication skills both written and verbal. The ideal candidate should also possess knowledge of accounting software such as QuickBooks or Sage50 along with experience using Microsoft Excel for data analysis purposes. A degree in Accounting is preferred but not essential.
