Merchandiser – Abu Dhabi
Salary: 1600
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field
• Proven track record of experience in merchandising or a related field
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Fluency in English; knowledge of Arabic is a plus
• Ability to work independently and under pressure
• Valid UAE driving license is mandatory
Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement merchandising strategies for all products within assigned categories
• Analyze sales trends to identify potential opportunities for product development and/or improvement
• Manage inventory levels and product availability to maximize sales potential
• Ensure products are appropriately priced within the market environment
• Collaborate with vendors to plan promotional activities, create displays, and negotiate pricing terms
• Develop relationships with key customers to ensure repeat business and customer loyalty
Skills:
• Solid understanding of retail merchandising principles and techniques
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multi-task effectively
• Effective problem-solving abilities with attention to detail
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook) as well as POS software applications
