Job Summary
We are currently looking for an experienced Housekeeping Manager to join our team in Abu Dhabi. The successful candidate will be responsible for the efficient and orderly running of the day-to-day housekeeping operations of the hotel. This position offers a salary of 1600 per month and we are open to considering foreign applicants.
Responsibilities
• Oversee all housekeeping staff and their activities in order to ensure the highest standards of cleanliness and service are maintained in all areas of the hotel
• Ensure that all guest rooms, lobbies, public areas, back-of-house areas and laundry facilities are cleaned according to established standards
• Implement cleaning policies and procedures ensuring that they are properly followed by staff members
• Monitor inventory of cleaning supplies on a regular basis and ensure timely replenishment when necessary
• Inspect guest rooms on a regular basis, ensuring that they meet standards of cleanliness and safety
• Respond promptly to guest requests or complaints regarding housekeeping services
• Monitor staff performance and provide constructive feedback when necessary
• Oversee laundry operations including sorting, washing, drying, folding/ironing linen items such as bed sheets, towels etc.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Hotel Management or related field preferred but not required
• Proven experience as a Housekeeping Manager in a hotel or similar setting
• Excellent knowledge of cleaning chemicals and their safety protocols
• Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
• Outstanding communication skills with fluency in English
