Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced accountant to join our team in El-Ain. The successful candidate will be expected to perform a variety of accounting tasks including financial analysis and reporting, budgeting and forecasting, general ledger maintenance, reconciliations and accounts payable/receivable. We are offering a salary of 1200 and we are open to considering applications from foreign candidates.

Duties & Responsibilities
The primary responsibility of the accountant will be to maintain and update all financial records accurately and in accordance with established procedures. This will include but not be limited to: preparing balance sheets, income statements, cash flow statements, profit & loss accounts; managing accounts receivable/payable; performing monthly bank reconciliations; researching discrepancies; preparing monthly financial reports; preparing budgets; monitoring actual performance against budget and providing variance reports; analyzing trends relating to actual vs budgeted results; preparing audit schedules for external auditors; tracking fixed assets; ensuring compliance with government regulations.

Education & Qualifications
Applicants should possess a degree in Accounting or Finance from an accredited university or college. A minimum of 3 years’ experience in an accounting role is required as well as excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Candidates must be proficient in the use of QuickBooks or other accounting software packages and have a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word). The successful candidate must also have strong verbal and written communication skills as well as the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
