Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced Merchandiser to join our team in Sharjah. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing merchandise programs, providing product availability and sales analysis as well as developing relationships with vendors. This position requires excellent organizational skills, strong communication skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Duties & Responsibilities:
• Develop seasonal product assortments and promotions based on customer needs and trends
• Negotiate pricing with vendors and ensure that products are ordered on time
• Analyze sales data to optimize product selection and pricing strategies
• Monitor inventory levels to ensure sufficient stock is available to meet customer demand
• Track orders from vendors through delivery to stores or warehouses
• Create visual displays for store locations in accordance with company guidelines
• Maintain records of all activities related to product selection, ordering, marketing, pricing, etc.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications & Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field preferred
• A minimum of 3 years' experience in a merchandising role
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales data
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to develop relationships with vendors
• Proven problem-solving abilities with the ability to work independently
• Ability to multi-task while maintaining accuracy in all tasks assigned • Must be authorized for employment in the UAE
