The key responsibilities of this role include cataloguing books, updating the library database with new materials, answering inquiries from readers, issuing books to borrowers, assisting readers in locating books and other materials, supervising the reading room activities, maintaining a secure environment within the library premises and organizing events related to reading promotion activities.

The ideal candidate should have at least a high school diploma or equivalent qualifications in Library Science. Preferred skills include being tech-savvy with excellent interpersonal communication skills as well as problem solving abilities in order to assist readers efficiently. Furthermore, knowledge of local laws related to copyright and intellectual property is highly desirable.
