We are looking for an organized and reliable Librarian to join our team in Ajman. This position requires the successful candidate to be responsible for managing our library's collections, providing information services, and ensuring an enjoyable library experience for our patrons.

The successful candidate must have excellent communication skills, be proficient in computer use, and be able to work with a diverse population of patrons. The librarian will need to demonstrate knowledge of library procedures and services, as well as the ability to operate library computer systems. Additionally, they should have prior experience working with people in both educational and public settings.

The librarian will be responsible for organizing and maintaining our library collection while providing access to users. They will also be responsible for creating and maintaining bibliographies, catalogs of materials held in the library, helping patrons locate materials from other libraries if needed, providing reference services both online and in person, organizing programs such as book clubs or lectures related to the collection topics, purchasing new materials when needed, assisting with children's activities like story time or craft classes as well as supervising volunteers who help with these activities.
