We are looking for an experienced Buyer to join our team in Al-Kuwait. With a salary of 1400, we offer competitive compensation packages to our employees that include excellent benefits and opportunities for career advancement.
As a Buyer, your core responsibilities will include researching and selecting the best products available from both local and international suppliers, negotiating with suppliers to secure the best terms and prices, compiling reports on market trends and competitor strategies, monitoring stock levels and placing orders when necessary. You will also be expected to develop relationships with key suppliers in order to ensure continued supply of quality products at competitive prices. Additionally, you may be asked to build relationships with other departments within the company in order to ensure the efficient flow of goods from supplier to customer.
To be considered for this position you must have a Degree or Diploma in Purchasing or Business Management or similar field. Previous experience as a buyer is essential combined with an understanding of industry trends and competitor strategies. Strong negotiation skills are essential as well as excellent written and verbal communication skills both internally and externally. A good knowledge of Microsoft Office programs is also required with advanced Excel skills being an advantage.
