Office Assistant
We are looking for an experienced and highly organized Office Assistant to join our team in Sharjah, UAE. The ideal candidate should have at least 2 years of experience as an office assistant. We will consider applications from foreign candidates.
The Office Assistant will be responsible for providing administrative and clerical support to the office staff. The successful candidate must be able to handle multiple duties at once with a great degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
Responsibilities:
• Answer telephone calls and respond to queries in a timely manner
• Greet visitors and direct them to the appropriate person
• Maintain records of office activities, such as documents, emails, etc.
• Prepare reports, memos, letters, and other documents using word processing or spreadsheet software
• Receive, sort and distribute mail/courier packages on behalf of staff members
• Assist in ordering office supplies when needed
• Coordinate meetings/events that involve staff members from different departments
• Perform basic bookkeeping tasks such as data entry into accounting systems
Requirements:
• High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor’s degree is a plus
• At least 2 years of experience in an office setting
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
